Martin originated the Orchestra Model when they took their 000 body shape and gave it a longer scale length. The OMs are renowned for fingerstyle playing and general versatility. Very clear voicing across the entire range of the instrument, with just a bit more punch in the bass.
A solid Sitka Spruce top with solid East Indian Rosewood back and sides, solid black Ebony fretboard, dovetail neck joint, tortoise colored binding, standard "X" scalloped top bracing pattern, a 25.4" scale length with a nut width of 1-3/4" and nickel open-geared tuners with butterbean knobs.
