Shipping and Return Policy
Instruments ordered from The Fret House, Inc will be shipped within 48 hours, contingent upon credit verification and availability of merchandise; you will be informed promptly if there is any problem. Orders will be delivered by UPS, FedEx or USPS. At this time we offer free shipping on orders over $500, unless a customer requests expedited delivery or any special handling. A tracking number will be emailed to you as soon as your order is shipped.
If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us within 10 days of receiving the product, as verified by shipper tracking. The instrument must be undamaged and unaltered, and include all materials included with original purchase. If possible, please re-use all packing material, and pack the instrument carefully. We suggest insuring return shipments, as The Fret House is not responsible for shipping damage that occurs to returned merchandise. The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping, and the original cost of free shipping will be deducted from your refund. Please notify us of your intention to return any merchandise before shipping it to us.
There is, unfortunately, a great deal of credit card fraud on the internet, and The Fret House will take all measures to protect our business and our customers. There may be instances when our cautious approach will delay a shipment, or cause us to reject a legitimate purchase. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes. At this time, we will only ship to the address associated with a purchaser’s credit card (it is possible to add a different shipping address to your credit card account).
