Taylor GT Urban Ash

Always innovating, Taylor Guitars introduces the new Grand Theater design, new guitar models from anything else in their line. The GT uses a new scale length for a Taylor, 24 1/8", which is between their smaller travel sized GS mini and the shorter scaled full size Grand Concert. This uniquely proportioned neck has an easy and comfortable feel. Despite it's smallish size, the guitar has a full and punchy tone, from solid bass notes to singing trebles, thanks in part to the new C-class bracing that brings a lot of tone out of the solid spruce top. In line with Taylor's commitment to sustainable wood sourcing, the back and sides are made of re-purposed urban ash, which has tonal properties comparable to mahogany. The fretboard is smoked eucalyptus, which seems to have a feel somewhere between rosewood and ebony. The guitar comes with a high quality rigid soft case: Taylor's Aerocase.
