Martin DX Johnny Cash Guitar

C. F. Martin and Company had a long standing relationship with the great Johnny Cash: they made him a custom D-35 in the 1970s that he played on stage for twenty years., and they designed a commemorative D-35 in 2006. Now Martin has introduced an afforbable X Series model in tribute to the Man in Black. Designed in collaboration with John Carter Cash and the Cash Foundation management team, the guitar features a classic Dreadnought body shape constructed with Jett black high-pressure laminate top, back and sides. The instrument includes a custom fingerboard inlaid with stars and the “CASH” logo and Johnny Cash’s signature appears on the rosette and label. This model comes with Fishman® MX electronics and a soft gig bag embroidered with the “CASH” logo.
