Cecilia Zabala is a guitarist, composer, singer and singer-songwriter. She won the 2018 National Arts Award (category “Jazz and Melodica”) granted by the National Ministry of Culture. She recorded ten independent albums with her own works, released in Argentina, Germany and the United States. For more than 15 years he has been touring internationally, giving Master Classes and presenting his work in Festivals, Concert Halls, artistic and cultural institutions and Artistic Markets in Europe, North America and Latin America. Cecilia is town to teach a master class at Cal Poly and is foillowing up with a performance at The Fret House.

She has shared the stage with outstanding artists of the local and international scene, such as Juan Falú, Teresa Parodi, Quique Sinesi, Pierre Bensusan, Benjamin Verdery, Silvia Iriondo, Miguel Cantilo, Javier Ruibal, Liliana Herrero, Raúl Carnota, Yusa, Daniel Maza, Leo Masliah, Luis Pescetti and Diego Rolón, among others. In her album “Fronteras” with Philippe Baden Powell, the outstanding cellist and arranger Jaques Morelenbaum participated. She has made different compositional collaborations throughout her career, among which stand out the songs composed with Gabo Ferro, Adrián Abonizio, Pierre Bensusan, Juan Falú, Javier Ruibal, Miguel Cantilo and Yusa (these last works will be part of her next album).

Her next album “Sagrado rito” will be released in 2025, and has co-authorships with Juan Falú, Miguel Cantilo, Yusa and Javier Ruibal, among others.
