Taylor's Limited Editions are a great opportunity to get one of their standard models with unique upgrades, in this case a sinker redwood top paired with Indian rosewood back and sides. This is a wood combination you don't see every day, both woods are considered to have a rich and deep tonal character. Redwood could be considered to be in the same realm as cedar, a softer wood than spruce which comes with a warm played in sort of character. Indian rosewood is known for its rich bass and complex overtones. The guitar also has a great looking striped ebony fingerboard, which is also seen on the headstock veneer and bridge. The Imperial inlay pattern and white binding complete the picture of this cutaway Grand Auditorium. The Guitar is equipped with ES2 electronics and and a deluxe Taylor hardshell case.
