We have always had a thing for maple jumbos here at The Fret House, so we were exited get the Taylor 618e in stock. And this guitar did nor disapoint: it has a large and clear voice with a piano like quality to it's notes. This guitar sounds fantastic when played fingerstyle and is also amazing when you strum a big open chord. The figureing in the maple is beautiful, and Taylor's Grand Orchestra appointments package, like the Mission inlays, maple binging with koa purfling, single-ring paua rosette, and a glossy Antique Blonde finish complete the picture. The guitar is equipped with Taylor's ES2 electronics and the deluxre hardshell case, with Western Floral design covering is a nice touch.
