Taylor 514ce Urban Ironbark Acoustic-Electric Guitar.
$ 3,299.00
Continuing a flurry of innovations in 2022, Taylor Guitars is introducing a redesigned 500 Series, with a new look and new tone wood: red ironbark, as seen in this new 514ce. Red Ironbark is a species of Eucalyptus, and was discovered as part of Taylor's program of using repurposed urban trees. This wood is very dense, in fact it is one of the few woods that will sink in water. As a tonewood, it has properties like a cross between rosewood and ebony. Combined with a roasted spruce top and V-class bracing this Grand Auditorium guitar has a very rich and powerful tone. The new 500 series guitars have an attractive light edge shading and a new inlay pattern. This guitar is really worth seeing and hearing, we encourage you to come by and check it out.
