Hailing from Guild's former factory in New Hartford, Connecticut, the 2014 Guild F-47MC combines the exquisite tonal characteristics of a solid red spruce top with solid flamed maple back and sides to create an unparalleled playing experience. Red spruce is renowned for its complex overtone content, its clarity of voice, and the heightened volume ceiling and resistance to distortion (when compared with Sitka). Maple, in the context of back and sides, is much more balanced and less boomy when compared to the likes of rosewood, which makes it an ideal wood for recording. Along with a tasteful Florentine cutaway, to allow easy access to the untapped higher-registers of the guitar, the F-47MC comes standard with bone nut, saddle, and bridge pins, to produce an even clearer tone. When combined with Seymour Duncan's D-TAR Multi-Source Pickup, you'll be able to achieve a faithful reproduction of your incomparable acoustic tone at amplified volumes.
Originally listed at $3,899.99, we're offering the F-47MC at $2,399, coming to a savings of $1,500.
